Bauchi Governor Stops Convoy To See Pupils Studying Under Tree

Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, on Tuesday, stopped his convoy when he saw pupils studying under a tree and others studying under sheds made of palm fronds, Newsflash247 reports.

The governor was said to have interacted with the pupils.

Mr Mohammed’s spokesman, Ladan Salihu, said in a tweet that his principal directed for a school to be built for the pupils.

“Governor Bala Mohammed stooped his Convoy when spotted these kids studying in make-shift shanties, some under a Tree. He interacted with the kids and directed for a school to be built for them,” Mr Salihu wrote.
