APC Is Broken, We Are Loyal To Saraki – Kwara APC State Chair

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State has reiterated its full loyalty to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki.

In a statement signed by its chairman, Ishola Fulani, the state chapter of the ruling party, also claimed that the “bond of unity and cohesion in the APC has been weakened, damaged, fractured and severed.”

He was reacting to the Supreme Court ruling on Friday, that freed Saraki, over an allegation of false asset declaration filed against him by the Federal Government.

“We are happy that the judgment has reinforced our expressed belief that the Senate President is innocent of all the trump up charges,” Fulani stated.

He went on to blame Saraki’s trial on, “desperate politicians (who) have hijacked the Code of Conduct Tribunal.”

“We wish to reiterate and categorically declare our unconditional loyalty to the leadership of the Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, CON. Come rain, come sun, we will continue to stand by the Senate President,” Fulani added.
