Ambode, Fayose, Others Meet In Lagos For Western Nigerian Governors’ Forum
The Western Nigerian Governors’ Forum commenced on Tuesday, March 27 with the theme, ‘Consolidating the Legacy of Regional Integration’.
The advancement of Lagos will mean nothing unless it is in conjunction with the overall development of the whole of Western Nigeria. Together we can achieve this ideal.
In this forum, Unity is a strength, when there are teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.
The Governors, in a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting of Southwest Governors’ Forum, held at the Government House in Ikeja, Lagos State also agreed to adopt a uniform educational curriculum to boost educational system in the region.
The meeting was attended by Governors of Lagos, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti States – Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Arakurin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and Mr. Ayodele Fayose respectively.
