Aisha clashes with El-rufai over Buhari’s daughter

Co-founder of Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement, Aisha Yesufu, on Sunday, January 12, has clashed with Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai on Twitter.

The BBOG co-founder took El-Rufai up on Sunday on issues affecting the state in recent times, some of which were the kidnap of four students from a Catholic seminary in Kaduna, the killing of a Nigeria Air Force official by bandits in the state among others.

“Wow! Kaduna state has turned to kidnappers den. Nasir El Rufai @elrufai has abandoned his responsibility and focused on citizens he can oppress,” she said in one tweet.

Mrs Yesufu also took him up on the use of a presidential jet by Hanan Buhari, daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Who is now breaking the implication of Buhari’s N8.5bn 2020 budget to maintain presidential fleet? Please tell me I am wrong about the figure!” she said.

El-Rufai responded after a Twitter user slammed him for maintaining silence in the face of criticism.

“Once and final response: I do not respond to every dimwit who never voted in Kaduna State on my TL.

” I am trying to govern our state and disinterested in being a public commentator/responder to publicity/follower-seeking, anonymous and jobless clowns with neither credentials nor address,” he said.

He then added: “Afterword: The most efficient and effective way to hurt those seeking unearned attention, cheap retweets and Twitter following is to ignore them. Depression and sychosis set in for ignored inanities and non-entities, manifesting into anger, insults and fabrications. I will forgive you!”

Yesufu, inter alia, has been very vocal in her criticism of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration and his handling of the kidnap of Chibok girls and others who are still in Boko Haram captivity.
