Aero Contractors, a Nigerian airline, has announced a significant reduction in airfare prices across all its destinations to mark the 2024 Yuletide celebration.
Ado Sanusi, Managing Director of Aero Contractors, disclosed this during a press conference held in Lagos on Tuesday.
The airline revealed that ticket prices for all destinations have been slashed to ₦80,000 per trip. Sanusi explained that the initiative, which will run until January 2025, is aimed at giving back to Nigerians and easing travel costs during the festive season.
“Our prices will start from ₦80,000 to all our destinations,” Sanusi said. “We intend to make air travel more affordable for the flying public, allowing families to reunite with their loved ones during the Christmas season.”
The move comes as a relief to many travelers, as airfares for a single trip from Lagos to Abuja typically range between ₦160,000 and ₦180,000, according to Daily Post.
