Abuja-Kaduna Train Attack: Bandits Release Sadiq Ango Abdullahi

The son of the Chairman of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Professor Ango Abdullahi and his late wife, Senator Aisha Jummai Alhassan, aka Mama Taraba, Sadiq Abdullahi has regained his freedom after spending a month in the terrorists’ den.

Newsflash Nigeria understands that Abdullahi was among hundreds of people kidnapped in the Abuja-Kaduna train attack that happened on 28 March 2022.

At least sixty casualties were recorded in the incident which happened in Katari, Kaduna State, Nigeria while an uncertain number of people were kidnapped by the terrorists.

Reports, however on Sunday (today), confirmed that Abdullahi was released on Friday after yet to be disclosed amount was paid as ransom to the terrorists.

No comment has been made yet by security operatives regarding the latest development.
