In a statement on Friday, Governor Adeleke’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, firmly debunked rumors circulating online. These whispers hinted at the government backtracking on the crucial White Paper released Thursday, which nullified previous selections for the Aree of Iree and Owa of Igbajo stools.
“There is no truth in the report,” the statement asserted, calling it “the handiwork of beneficiaries of illegality perpetrated by the previous administration.”
