PHOTOS: How Tosin, a Nigerian Man, Married His Male Partner Andrew in France
Tosin Ojutalayo, a Nigerian living in the United Kingdom, and his partner, Andrew, have exchanged vows at a stunning ceremony in Castle Bay in Hyères, France.
The happy couple shared photos of their special day on Twitter, where they received congratulatory messages from their friends and followers.
Tosin and Andrew met 10 years ago through a twist of fate. Andrew had sent Tosin a private message on Twitter, but Tosin was in a relationship at the time and did not reply. Two months later, after becoming single, Tosin attended a dinner party where he ran into Andrew.
They hit it off and started dating. They have been together ever since, supporting each other through thick and thin.
Tosin tweeted about their love story two weeks before their wedding, saying, “He slid into my DMs, whilst I was in a relationship and I shut it down of course #YorubaMenDon’tCheat.
“Then two months later (now single) – I walked into a dinner party and he was there. 10 years later, we’re getting married in 2 weeks.”
On Tuesday, he updated his followers with pictures of their wedding, with the caption, “UPDATE: We Got Married.”
The photos showed the couple wearing matching white outfits and smiling as they held hands. They also posed with their family and friends who attended the wedding.
Tosin and Andrew’s wedding was a celebration of their love, friendship, and diversity. They are an inspiration to many people who believe in finding true love online.
