N10m Ransom: Family Of Ekiti Kidnapped Victims Begs Nigerians For Financial Help
The family of the Ekiti kidnapped by gunmen in Oke-Ako Ekiti in Ekiti State has begged Nigerians for financial assistance.
Newsflash Nigeria had reported that gunmen have killed an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in the Ikole Local Government area of Ekiti State.
The incident occurred Saturday evening along Oke Ako – Ajowa Road, in Oke Ako Ekiti in Ikole Local government area.
According to the report, the officer, who was travelling from Ado Ekiti to his home town, was attacked in his vehicle and shot dead while the gunmen kidnapped his younger brother and two children with him in the car.
The kidnappers have sought a ransom of N10 million before releasing the three victims, including a 9-year-old boy.
The family of Ayebulu in Oke Ako Ekiti are begging Nigerians for financial help, they said three children were in the custody of kidnappers, while their elder brother was killed.
“Three members of the Ayebulu family were kidnapped along Oke Ako – Ajowa Road, in Oke Ako Ekiti in Ikole Local government area of Ekiti State on Saturday evening.
“The gunmen killed an officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Segun Ayebulu.
“The kidnappers are demanding N10m as ransom to release the abducted THREE members of the Ayebulu family, including a 9-year-old boy.
“Not even up to 10% of the ransom being demanded was raised”.
