Igbekeleoluwa foundation gives N500,000 cast grant, scholarship to Indigent students in Ekiti
The Igbekeleoluwa Foundation, founded by Engr Ayodele Igbekele, has given an N500,000 grant to a graduate of Ikere indigent, Mr Kehinde Ogunsuji, for supporting the poultry project.
The foundation also presented a scholarship award to an Ikere indigent student who scored the highest mark in the 2021 JAMB with admission to the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology enjoy scholarship from 100 level to final year.
The founder’s foundation, who spoke during the second-anniversary event at Chief Wole Olanipekun Bar Hall, in Ikere-Ekiti at the weekend said a total of 40 brilliant students with 30 at the primary school cadre, 10 secondary school cadre has been given scholarships and certificate of excellence to encourage them to do more.
He also supports 10 Graduates with a cash grant of N50,000 with the additional Point of Sale (POS) machine to support their businesses.
“The foundation, through the Entrepreneurship and Graduates Empowerment Programme, supports a Graduate with a grant of N500,000 and 10 Graduates with a cash grant of N50,000 with the additional Point of Sale (POS) machine to support their businesses.
“30 intelligent pupils and 10 brilliant students from various Public Primary and Secondary Schools in Ikere were given scholarships and certificates of excellence to encourage them to do more.

“Indigene of Ikere with the Highest Score in 2021 JAMB with admission to the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology enjoy scholarship from 100 level to final year”.
Engr Ayodele further said that the foundation issued cash grants to 30 businesswomen in the town for supporting their businesses.
Mr Ayodele advised the beneficiaries to be more committed to their business and for those scholarship beneficiaries also advised them to be educational pursuit, saying success would only be attained with hard work and perseverance.
“I want to plead with the beneficiaries to take advantage of this unique opportunity available to each of them through this scheme to not only devote his or her time to real educational pursuit but also beam a searchlight into the future,” he said.
The dignitaries who graced the occasion include the 2022 Deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Mrs Monisade Afuye; Vice-Chancellor Bamidele Olumilua University, Prof. Victor Adeoluwa; Speaker Ekiti State House of Assembly, Funminiyi Afuye; HRM Olori Funmilola Adejimi, Eyesorun of Ikere Kingdom; HRM Olori Orisagbemi, Eyesorun of Ayede Kingdom.
Others are Chairman Ikere Local Government, Hon. Ayodele Oluwafemi, Ikere West LCDA Chairperson, Hon. (Mrs) Toyin Afolabi; Former Chairman Ikere LG, Engr. Gbenga Omole; Chief (Mrs) Kemi Adewumi and others.
