Anambra election: Primate Ayodele speaks on Andy Uba’s decision to approach the court
The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has reacted to the decision of Anambra gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Andy Uba to approach the court after the outcome of the election didn’t favour him.
The cleric revealed that Andy Uba will end up being disgraced if he approaches the court to battle the outcome of the election.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Chukwuma Soludo as the winner of the Anambra governorship poll conducted on November 6.
Soludo, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), secured 112,229 votes to defeat his two major rivals — Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who got 53,807 votes, and Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who secured 43,285 votes.
But Senator Andy Uba who came third rejected the outcome of the poll.
Senator Uba equally threatened to reclaim his ‘stolen mandate’ through all constitutional means available.
Uba maintained that there was no way the carcass of the APGA could have defeated the APC without active collusion and manipulation by the INEC and the Willie Obiano-led administration.
Reacting, the popular prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele, said Andy Uba will end up being disgraced if he approaches the court to battle the outcome of the election.

The cleric said the victory of Charles Soludo and APGA in the election is a result of obedience to spiritual advice and warnings.
Primate Ayodele made it known that contesting the outcome in court will end up futile because God has not anointed Andy Uba to become governor of Anambra state, no matter the gimmicks he tries to employ.
The man of God also asked stakeholders in Anambra politics not to beg Andy Uba not to go to court, making it known that he should be allowed to disgrace himself since he has decided to ignore every warning given to him before the election.
It would be recalled that in March 2021, Primate Ayodele categorically stated that Andy Uba should forget about ruling the Anambra state because he doesn’t have God’s backing.
He advised him to channel his resources into charity instead of getting involved in Anambra gubernatorial race.
In reaction to this, Andy Uba attacked Primate Ayodele, called him names while insisting that he will become the next governor of Anambra State.
