You’re cross-border bandits – Omokri attacks Garba Shehu, El-Rufai for using Twitter

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has attacked Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai and Presidential aide, Garba Shehu on using Twitter abroad while being banned in Nigeria.
Omokri lampooned the Nigerian leaders and their aides calling them bandits.
Omokri who labelled the politicians as hypocrites said their actions are criminal in nature.
Newsflash Nigeria had reported that the Nigerian government banned the use of Twitter in June 2021 after the social media company deleted President Muhammadu Buhari post for violating its term of use.
However, in recent times, some government officials and political leaders are observed to have been accessing the bird app allegedly from outside the country.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State was recently challenged and called names after he was seen tweeting on the app restricted in Nigeria.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu has also been noticed to be using Twitter from overseers.
Reacting via a post on his social media account on Friday, November 12, Omokri lampooned the government officials calling them bandits.
Omokri who again labelled the politicians as hypocrites said their actions are criminal in nature.
He wrote: “Banning Twitter in Nigeria for Nigerians then going abroad to tweet is like criminalising stealing in Nigeria and travelling out to steal. That makes you a cross border bandit. And using Twitter abroad after banning it in Nigeria makes you a cross border hypocrite! These guys should just face it.
“They can’t do without Twitter. Meanwhile, Twitter can do without them. They are waiting for an apology that will never come and their frustration is causing them to temporary relocate so they can be allocated some Twitter time.”
