Plane crashes, kills all onboard – Governor of the South province reports
The crash took place minutes before landing, the governor of the South Kivu province said on Friday.
A small plane on Thursday crashed in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, killing all the four people on board.
The crash took place minutes before landing, the governor of the South Kivu province said on Friday.
The plane carried two passengers, two crew members and cargo.
Reacting, the governor of the South Kivu province, Theo Ngwabidje Kasi, said on Friday:
“I have just learned of the crash of an Agefreco Company plane which came from Kalima to Bukavu with four people on board.
“The investigation will determine the cause of the accident.

“I share the pain with the grieving families and present my most saddened condolences.”
Meanwhile, the search for the plane is being conducted with the support of the UN Organisation Stabilisation Mission in the DRC.
