BREAKING: Ondo confirms first Coronavirus case

The Ondo State government, on Friday night, April 3, has announced the confirmation of the first new case of the novel COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus in the country.

Rotimi Akeredolu, the state governor made the announcement Friday night on its official Twitter account.

He tweets:

“We have just received confirmation of our first positive #COVIDー19 case in Ondo State this evening.

“The infected person is currently under isolation and will be monitored.

“We have activated all necessary protocol to locate all contacts and will be working closely with @NCDCgov,” the governor said.
