APC governors, minister behind my travails – Oshiomhole
The former Edo State Governor and the current National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole, has raised alarm, claiming that some APC governors and a serving minister are responsible for his current travails in the party.
But, Oshiomhole did not name the minister and the governors.
The former governor spoke after meeting with the President Muhammadu Buhari, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The closed-door meeting took place as news broke that Justice Lewis Allagoa of the Federal High Court in Kano, had set aside a ruling of the FCT High Court suspending him as the APC’s chairman.
He said he came specifically to brief Buhari on developments in the party, being the national leader.
Newsflash247 had earlier reported that the FCT High Court in Jabi, Abuja, on Wednesday, March 4, had suspended Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the APC.
The court ordered Oshiomhole to step down pending the determination of the substantive suit seeking his removal as the APC chairman.
Justice Danlami Senchi gave the ruling in an application of interlocutory injunction following his suspension as a member of the APC from Etsako ward 10 in Edo State.
Also, on the early hours of Thursday, March 5, a Federal High Court sitting in Kano, has set aside a ruling by the FCT High Court is suspending the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole.
According to Channels Television, Justice Lewis Allagoa who set aside the ruling today.
He also ordered the police and Department of State Service (DSS) to provide security for Oshiomhole to resume in his office.
