The former Kwara state governor is still in the thick of things as he was recently appointed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to unite party faithfuls in Bayelsa and Kogi state as both states prepare for the governorship elections.
Meanwhile, an APC group known as Young Stakeholders Forum has called on the national leadership of the party to urgently embark on a total reconciliation move to ensure victory ahead of November 16th governorship election in Bayelsa.
The group say it believes that the chances of APC taking over Bayelsa currently is very high, therefore, it advised the party’s governors forum, National Working Committee and the Bayelsa state leadership to reach out to political stakeholders in the state.
