Thunder Strikes Boy To Death In Ekiti After Stolen Eggs

A thunderbolt has struck a secondary school lad to death in Emure Ekiti. The incident which happened in the early hours of Saturday has plunged the community into deep mourning.

According to reports, the boy had gone to a mountain in the community with his friend where they stole some eggs from a fowl which was already in the hatching process.

The boys reportedly chased the hen away and then picked up the eggs and fried them.

However, the deceased was struck to his death by thunder after he ate the egg.

His partner was yet to eat his own portion of the meal when the incident occurred.

Newsflash247 who reported the news has gathered that the community has been besieged by traditional worshipers who are said to be making the necessary sacrifices to appease the god of thunder in order to save the life of the second boy.
