The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Friday presented its flags to its three governorship candidates in the South-West in the 2019 elections with a vow to liberate the zone from the aprons of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC at the polls.
The governorship Candidates are Hon Oladipupo Adedibutu, Ogun State, Engr Seyi Makinde, Oyo State and Mr Jimi Agbaje of Lagos State who was represented by her Deputy Alhaja Haleemat Oluwayemi Busari, respectively.

Secondus stated that all the authentic candidates of the Party went through due processes in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act, 2010 as amended and that their names were duly submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
He declared that PDP which believed in the rule of law was confident
According to him, “the candidates went through all the processes before they gotten to this stage and as the National Chairman of the Party, I signed their forms which also signed by the National Secretary of the party and thereafter we submitted their forms to the INEC and not otherwise.
“It is a criminal for an individual to take over the duty of the party’s National Working Committee, NWC or any organs of the Party or that of the INEC, to print forms on his own, sell such forms to himself and his cohorts, organised primaries and the results of such primaries to the INEC.
“Is that what the law says? we are not ready to join issues with anybody on this, we believe the Judiciary will do justice to this illegality at the appropriate time.
”Secondus tasked President Muhammodu Buhari to physically go round the country to campaign to Nigerians what he has in stock for them and should no conduct his Presidential Campaign by proxy.
He also advised that Buhari should direct the INEC and all the security agencies to be neutral in the conduct of the general elections as Nigerians would not tolerate anything short of neutrality and transparency.
According to him, “Nigerians are wise, this is a president that does not communicate, he only when he goes outside Nigeria. Nigerians are confused and cannot understand him and yet he said he’s coming back, to do what?
“You are not talking to Nigerians, you can’t persuade them, you can’t order the security agencies, you can’t order INEC. The president should be bold to talk the INEC chairman and security agencies to order.
“This is a government of cabals, Nigerians will reject them in 2019 because they don’t even know who is their president, who is in charge whether the cabal because the President seems to know nothing.
Nigerians are dying in their numbers, yet the emperors of APC will be talking about integrity, more people are hungry. Nigerians will pass their judgment in 2019, you can no longer deceive Nigerians.
” There is nothing they will not, they used the EFCC, they are using the Police to intimidate Nigerians, they telling lies and using propaganda galore as if Nigerians are fools.
“We challenged the President to do campaign by himself, not by proxy, not by the cabal. We are well prepared for all their antics. We are also calling on the factional National chairman of APC to stop insulting the leaders of the country, enough is enough.”
Secondus declared that the PDP was fully prepared and ready to liberate the South West Zone from the aprons of the APC in the Coming elections with the cooperation of the in the Zone who had made up their minds to dump the APC at the polls
