2023: We’ll sue Tinubu if he fails to contest for Presidency – APC Group support
The Director-General of the Tinubu support group has threatened to sue the former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu if he refuses to contest for the 2023 presidency.
Aminu Sulaiman, the director of the Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO), stated this on Monday in Osogbo during the inauguration of the TSO, Osun state chapter.
He said that the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) would be sued if he refused to answer their call of becoming the next president in Nigeria.
He said: “We will take him to court if Asiwaju refuses to contest because we can’t have someone like him and he won’t answer our call.
He must contest. We will take him to court to force him into the race.”
The governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Wole Oyebamiji thanked the group for appreciating the leadership qualities of the chieftain.
He went ahead to state that Tinubu had proven over time that he is a true leader due to the sacrifice he has made for the country during the NADECO days.
He also maintained that Tinubu has qualities that the presidency needs and he was capable of taking Nigeria from its present condition and making it great again.
He also said that since Tinubu has served as a one-time governor of Lagos State he would have access to foreign connections that would be of great help to the presidency.
He assured everyone that if Tinubu was given a chance he would definitely restore the country to its good old days.
