The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has distanced itself from a purported primary election timetable circulating on social media.
Reports emerged on Wednesday that the APC had released the primary election timetable for the 2023 elections in order to meet the June 3, 2022 deadline set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Addressing reporters at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday, APC spokesman, Barrister Felix Morka, said it has not released any timetable for its primaries.
He, however, asked Nigerians and members of the party to disregard the mischievous timetable circulating online.
