2019: Reps Aspirant, Adetimehin Visits Ekiti Statesmen, seeking support for his political intention
The candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC for the House of Representatives seat in Ekiti South Federal Constituency I, Prince Abiodun Adetimehin has appealed to all Ikere stakeholders to support his aspiration.
Adetimehin, an Ikere born politician, made the appeal during his visit to major stakeholders in Ikere Ekiti development in Lagos and other major cities across the South-West.
Prince Adetmehin told the elder statesmen that his aspiration should be seen as an opportunity to foster unity and love as a platform for Ikere Ekiti to assert itself as a major force in the political and socio-economic development of Ekiti State.
The ADC candidate who said it was painful that Ikere Ekiti, the second largest town in the state could not clinch the Governorship office, maintained that if the town loses the House of Representatives seat it would not be too good for its reckoning.
Prince Adetmehin explained that his emergence would serve as a rallying point for the youths to believe in their capacity to provide purposeful political leadership as well as dominate the economic space.
He stressed that his emergence as the sole candidate from Ikere Ekiti was divine, adding that the patriotic support of the people would ensure his victory. Adetimehin maintained that he shall continue to see Ikere as an indivisible community before, during and after his electioneering campaign.
Prince Adetmehin has so far visited the Ogoga in council, the former Governor of old Ondo State, Evangelist Bamidele Olumilua in Ikere, as well as former Deputy Governor of Ekiti and candidate of the Mega party, Mr. Bisi Omoyeni, Pastor Tope Orolu and Mr. Ariyo Mayokun in Lagos and many Ikere stakeholders.
He was accompanied by members of the Omolu”Abi Support Group Lagos Chapter including Mr. Babatunde Ojo, Mr. Ayodele Oke and Mr. Bayode Akomolafe.
Adetimehin thanked the statesmen for their warm reception, the useful advice, the support accorded him and his team during this visit.
