2018 African Women’s Nations Cup Draw, Fixtures

The draw for the 2018 African Women’s Nations Cup was done on Sunday night in Ghana.

Nigeria was drawn in group B with South Africa, Zambia and Kenya.

We play our first match against South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium on November 18th.

Kenya replaced perennial cheats Equatorial Guinea who were banned by CAF for fielding an ineligible player.

Equatorial Guinea have often been accused of fielding men and foreigners in their women’s national team and this time they were banned for fielding a Cameroonian in their qualifying match against Kenya.

The Kenyans protested and Equatorial Guinea was banned.

The tournament will be held in Ghana from 17 November to 1 December 2018.
